Barnes Play School – 3 to 7 years old

Here at the TPCamps Barnes Play School, the children spend their day playing, exploring and having fun!

Activities include:

Playing with sand and water
Playdough
Cutting and sticking
Building with Lego and bricks
Working with clay
Painting pictures
Dressing up
Reading
Imagination play
Arts and crafts
Music
Dance
Scootering

Most days are spent inside the nursery and outdoor time in our secure enclosed courtyard where the children take part in various planned activities, games, dance, singing and just being children. Sometimes very short outings take place on the local common (30 seconds away) where the children play various games supervised by our experienced nursery teachers and staff. Butterfly / bird watching, nursery rhymes and arts and crafts are just some activities the children enjoy. The children can take ‘quiet time’ if they wish, and a small resting area is provided for this. Every day starts with a sing along and finishes with a story.

The maximum number of children on site per day is 40.

Packed lunch is required. Children may only bring healthy food. Chocolates, sweets, fizzy drinks are not allowed to be consumed.
We also have a NO NUT policy. The children and the staff all enjoy lunch together.

Water, organic fruit, vegetables and juice are provided throughout the day. Children should also bring their own water bottle

Times:

Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 3:30pm

Full weeks, individual days or half days can be booked and optional additional wrap around can also be added.
